My story

As a travel journalist, I have captured the essence of lifestyles, places, and cultures globally for over three decades. I specialize in blending words and images to tell meaningful stories that transport readers to new places. My focus is on creating content that fills the needs of editors and publishers for compelling travel material.

Currently, I am a contracted photographer for Getty Images/iStock and Shutterstock. My work has been published at both national and global levels. My portfolio is diverse. Before the stock agencies, I covered news, sports, national politics, lifestyles, and travel destinations.

I worked as the staff photographer at United Press International in Seattle and Des Moines. Later I was contracted as an assignment photographer for Reuters News Agency and Sigma Magazine Agency.
